Michel Tabori was born in Paris in 1956 and grew up in New York. He spent the better part of the last thirty years working in films and television as a director, producer, writer and cinematographer while living and working all over the world. Today, he incorporates his cinematic expertise, visual experience and creative process into his current work at his Venice, California studio.

Tabori is also broadening his focus by expanding into the third dimension while combining his production experience with that of his painting to create installations that include painting, sculpture, set design, lighting, sound and music score as well as video images. His upcoming installation is a celebration of nature called Regenesis.
